7 Days Serengeti Photo Safari

Day 1:

Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you will be warmly greeted by our transfer specialist.
Transfer to your arranged hotel in Arusha where you will meet your safari guide.
Evening briefing session with your guide to discuss the upcoming safari.

Day 2:

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Early breakfast at your hotel in Arusha.
Depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant population and iconic baobab trees.
Full day of game viewing in Tarangire, capturing wildlife against the backdrop of baobab-studded landscapes.

Day 3:

Tarangire National Park to Serengeti

After breakfast, journey towards Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
En-route game drive with stops at scenic viewpoints for photography opportunities.
Lunch provided in a packed lunch box to maximize game viewing time upon arrival in Serengeti.

Day 4:

Full Game Drive in Serengeti National Park

Early morning departure for a game drive in the northern part of Serengeti, known for the Mara River crossing during the Great Migration (seasonal).
Witness wildlife interactions and possibly crocodiles preying on wildebeest.

Day 5:

Morning Game Drive in Serengeti – Afternoon Drive to Ngorongoro

Early morning game drive in Serengeti.
Picnic lunch in the park followed by an afternoon game drive towards the Ngorongoro Crater rim.
En-route, experience Maasai cultural insights in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Accommodation: Overnight stay at Ngorongoro Crater rim lodge or nearby area.

Day 6:

Full Day Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of game viewing.
Capture scenes of lions, elephants, buffalo, and possibly rare black rhino.
Afternoon drive to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Accommodation: Lodge in Karatu or nearby area

Day 7:

Lake Manyara National Park – Return to Arusha

Visit Lake Manyara National Park for wildlife viewing, including tree-climbing lions and flamingoes.
Optional cultural visit to the nearby village of Mto wa Mbu.
Return to Arusha where the 7-days Serengeti photo safari concludes.
