This short but immersive 3-days safari takes you through some of Tanzania’s most stunning landscapes and wildlife areas, starting in Moshi and traveling to Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The itinerary offers a rich diversity of wildlife and breathtaking scenery.

3 Days Tanzania Luxury Safari

Day 1:

Kilimanjaro International Airport to Arusha

Pickup from Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO).
Transfer to Gran Meliá Arusha for a briefing on your safari.
Rest and overnight at Gran Meliá Arusha.

Day 2:

Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Karatu

Depart from Arusha after breakfast for a two-hour journey to Tarangire National Park.
Enjoy a game drive in Tarangire, known for its large elephant population, buffalo, lions, and diverse birdlife.
Picnic lunch within the park.
Continue to Ngorongoro highlands for an overnight stay.

Day 3:

Karatu to Ngorongoro Crater, Return to Arusha

Early breakfast at Ngorongoro Oldeani Mountain Lodge.
Descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive.
View a diverse range of wildlife including lions, elephants, buffalo, and flamingos at Lake Magadi.
Picnic lunch in the crater.
Return to Arusha (approximately 3.5-hour drive, 192 km).

Departure Instructions

The safari ends in Arusha at 17:00 hrs.
Departure should be scheduled for the following day. Domestic flights should depart from Kilimanjaro International Airport at 07:10 hrs or later, and international flights at 06:40 hrs or later.
An extra night’s accommodation in Arusha is required if departing the following day (not included in the tour price).
